As part of its commitment to being a long-term community partner, Brightmark sponsored the Georgia Recycling Coalition and SWANA GA-Chapter’s joint conference, focusing on uniting waste management efforts and promoting a circular economy.

Founder and CEO Bob Powell sat down with Dave Piper from Fun 101 FM, a local Thomaston radio station, to answer questions regarding the Thomaston Circularity Center and Brightmark’s involvement in the community.

Alyssa Schabel, Brightmark’s project development manager, volunteered at the Rock the Block concert in Thomaston, Georgia, where she joined residents and the Thomaston Chamber of Commerce for an evening of music and fun.

Brightmark sponsored the GA Conservancy’s Precious Places event to celebrate outdoor recreation and support its mission to protect Georgia’s natural wonders, reflecting Brightmark’s commitment to local environments.

Brightmark celebrated Independence Day with the Thomaston community by sponsoring the Freedom Festival on July 4th. Founder and CEO Bob Powell attended the event and connected with local residents to celebrate the holiday.

Thomaston’s Upson Beacon newspaper recently hosted a community meet-and-greet, offering local residents the chance to connect with the Brightmark team, ask questions, and learn more about how the Thomaston Circularity Center will benefit both the environment and the local community.
